Liam Ryan, DC

Dr. Ryan was born and raised in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. After earning a Bachelor’s Degree from Acadia University, he attended the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College. During his time at chiropractic school he received several awards for his contributions to student life, as well as academic and clinical proficiency. Dr. Ryan is certified in Functional Integrated Acupuncture, Athletic Movement Assessment, and Smart Tools Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization. He is a member of the Canadian Chiropractic Association and the Nova Scotia College of Chiropractors. Dr. Ryan takes a holistic approach with his treatments, incorporating manual therapy with rehabilitative exercise and education to achieve exceptional clinical results for his patients. In his free time Dr. Ryan enjoys staying active and spending time with friends and family.

Josie Webster, DC

Dr. Josie Webster was born and raised in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia and has been active in her community through sport and volunteer work. Her involvement in competitive sports inspired her to complete a Bachelor of Science in Human Kinetics from St. Francis Xavier University. After working as a Kinesiologist for several years, she returned to school and graduated magna cum laude from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College as a Doctor of Chiropractic. Josie utilizes an evidence-based approach to care, combining the latest scientific evidence with her clinical expertise to tailor individualized treatment plans for her patients. She uses a combination of manual therapy, functional acupuncture, education and exercise prescription to tailor an individualized treatment plan to help her patients move better, feel better and optimize their health! Josie holds certifications in Functional Integrated Acupuncture, Athletic Movement Assessment, Concussion Management, Post-Natal Rehabilitation and SMART Tools Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization. Josie is a member of the Nova Scotia College of Chiropractors and Canadian Chiropractic Association. In her spare time, Josie enjoys hiking, playing soccer, pilates and spending quality time with her family and friends.

Maddy Hiscock, DC

Dr. Maddy Hiscock was born and raised in Halifax, Nova Scotia and found her passion for rehabilitation at a young age through competitive sports. She pursued a Bachelor of Science at Mount Saint Vincent University where she was a member and captain of the Women’s Varsity Basketball Team. She continued her education and graduated cum laude from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College as a Doctor of Chiropractic. She has remained active in her community through volunteer work as a member of the medical team for the 2022 ICF Canoe Sprint and Paracanoe World Championship and as coach and mentor for young athletes. Dr. Maddy believes in and is committed to utilizing an evidence-based approach to care and taking the time to provide patients with the education and knowledge required to understand the source of their pain. She uses an array of manual techniques such as manipulation and mobilizations, functional acupuncture and tailored exercise programs. She holds certifications in Functional Integrated Acupuncture and Soft Tissue Release Therapy. Dr. Maddy is a member of the Nova Scotia College of Chiropractors and Canadian Chiropractic Association. In her spare time, Dr. Maddy enjoys live music, staying active through recreational basketball and spending time with family and friends.

Joelle Parnham, MScPT

Joelle is a dedicated professional with a passion for helping individuals regain their pain-free lifestyles. She originally hails from Ontario. She pursued her academic journey at Western University, where she earned her Masters of Physiotherapy, enriching her expertise in the field. Her commitment to personalized care is evident in her tailored programs designed for each patient based on their unique needs. In her role as a therapist, Joelle prioritizes patient empowerment through education. She firmly believes that fostering a shared understanding of injuries promotes teamwork and is integral to preventing future issues. Joelle brings a wealth of experience as an Athletic Therapist and former varsity volleyball player, offering a well-rounded perspective to her practice as a Physiotherapist. Having a strong background in manual therapy, functional dry needling, education, and exercise, Joelle is well-versed in addressing a variety of injuries. She advocates for the incorporation of physical activity, functional movements, and the integration of individualized strength and mobility into daily life to help patients achieve their goals. Beyond her professional pursuits, Joelle enjoys staying active with a particular affinity for hiking and playing volleyball. She values quality time spent with family and friends, rounding out her holistic approach to health and well-being.

Bridget Carter, RMT

Bridget grew up in PEI where she studied Psychology at the University of Prince Edward Island before adventuring to Halifax to complete her diploma in Massage Therapy at CCMH - Halifax. As a therapist Bridget likes to apply a combination of massage therapy techniques to assess, treat, and provide individualized treatments plans for her patients. Bridget is currently studying Osteopathy at the CAO, so when she is not in the clinic you can usually find her studying.

Brittany Nickerson, RMT

Brittany grew up in Halifax, Nova Scotia and graduated from Eastern College Massage Therapy in 2015. She has since developed and shaped her practice into a few different specializations. Her primary passion is in sport injury rehabilitation, with a close second as pre- and post-natal treatments. She uses a combination of techniques such as deep fascial stretching, cupping, trigger point therapy and more to reach her clients' goals! In Brittany's free time, she enjoys coaching youth volleyball, hiking and training.

Rachel Johns, RMT

Rachel grew up in Digby County, Nova Scotia and then moved to Halifax to pursue a career in Massage Therapy, graduating from ICT Northumberland College in 2017. Throughout her career, Rachel has found her niche in deep tissue, therapeutic treatments. She enjoys working with postural dysfunctions and sports injuries, but likes taking on any case that is presented to her. She is also very goal-oriented in her approach, incorporating deep tissue techniques and utilizing cupping therapy, to reach patient’s individual goals effectively. In Rachel’s spare time she enjoys going for drives and exploring NS, staying active and spending time with her boyfriend & friends!
